Patch Notes (29. Mar 2026)

Published: March 29, 2026 · Reading time: 4 min

Patch v0.1.123 is our biggest release yet. We’re introducing guild-wide analytics, a fairness scoring system, achievements, a personal inbox, and significant UI improvements. Here’s a detailed look at everything that’s new.

1. Guild Statistics

Guilds now have access to a dedicated Statistics tab, providing comprehensive analytics about guild activity and resource distribution. The dashboard is divided into five areas, each with detailed breakdowns and trend charts:

  • Members — Activity trends, attendance rates, role and class distribution, newcomer tracking, and retention metrics.
  • Loot & Economy — Item distribution breakdowns by rarity, gold flow analysis, wishlist fulfillment rates, and a new fairness score (see below).
  • Events — Participation rates, no-show tracking with severity indicators, event type analysis, and reliability ratings per member.
  • DKP — Earning and spending trends, decay tracking, inflation monitoring, and per-member balance histories.
  • Discord — Message activity, voice channel participation, reaction stats, and top contributor rankings.

All statistics support configurable time periods and are updated daily via automated aggregation.

2. Guild Fairness System

We’re introducing the Fairness Index — a composite score (0–100) that measures how equitably guild resources are distributed among members. The system evaluates loot distribution across six dimensions: proportionality, spread, wishlist fulfillment, temporal consistency, newcomer integration, and gold transparency.

The Fairness Index supports four calculation modes:

  • Performance — Weighs attendance, DKP balance, and tenure. Designed for raid-focused guilds where active contributors receive priority.
  • Equal — Every member has the same expected share, regardless of activity. Best suited for casual or social guilds.
  • Need — Prioritises members based on wishlist urgency, gear delta, and time since last loot drop. Ideal for guilds running need-before-greed systems.
  • Custom — Full control over 10 individual weight factors, allowing guild leaders to define their own distribution philosophy.

Guild leaders can configure the active mode, adjust dimension weights, control what members can see on the public fairness page, and fine-tune advanced parameters such as the scaling factor and gold normaliser. A preview mode lets administrators see how the score would change under a different configuration before committing.

All fairness settings are available under Guild Settings → Fairness.

3. Wishlist Export

Authorised members can now export a consolidated overview of all guild members‘ wishlist items. This feature is accessible via Statistics → Members → All Members and supports the following export formats:

  • CSV — For spreadsheets and data processing
  • JSON — For developers and integrations
  • PDF — For printing and sharing
  • XLSX — For Microsoft Excel with formatted tables

The export includes item name, category, type, member name, and the date each item was added.

4. Achievements

GuildNest now features a full achievement system. Both individual users and guilds can unlock achievements by reaching specific milestones — from adding items to wishlists and attending raids to distributing loot and growing the guild roster.

Each achievement awards XP and is displayed on the user’s dashboard with a progress tracker. Guild-specific achievements are visible to all members and contribute to the guild’s profile.

5. Inbox

Every user now has a personal Inbox — a centralised hub for all notifications. The inbox is organised into filterable folders (All, Unread, Guild, Events, Loot & DKP, System) and supports batch actions such as marking multiple notifications as read or deleting them.

Notifications include achievement unlocks, event reminders, loot drops, DKP changes, fairness status updates, guild membership changes, and system announcements. Each notification links directly to the relevant page within the app.

Coming soon: Direct messaging between users and guild-wide announcements will be added in a future update. The inbox infrastructure is already prepared for this.

6. UI Improvements

Several interface elements have been redesigned for improved usability and visual consistency:

  • Notification Toasts — Redesigned with category-specific accent colours, auto-dismiss timers with a progress bar, and smooth slide-in/slide-out animations.
  • Guild Overview Page — Refreshed layout featuring quick stat cards, an activity feed, upcoming events, recent loot distributions, and a roster summary.
  • Guild Settings — Restructured with tab-based navigation, improved slider and toggle components, and inline validation with descriptive hints.

6.1 Custom Guild Landing Page

Guild leaders and authorised members can now personalise their guild’s landing page. The following customisation options are available:

  • Background Image — Upload a custom banner image that is displayed behind the guild header with an automatic gradient overlay for readability.
  • Text Colour — Adjust the text colour of the guild name and metadata to ensure contrast against the chosen background.

These settings are accessible via the edit controls in the top-right corner of the guild overview page.

7. Bug Fixes

This release includes numerous bug fixes and stability improvements across the platform. Notable fixes include form state handling in guild settings, slider component rendering, and data aggregation edge cases.

Coming Up Next

We’re already working on the next set of features. Here’s a preview of what’s on the roadmap:

  • Direct Messaging — Send and receive messages between users and within guilds.
  • Extended Bot Features — New Discord bot commands and automation capabilities.
  • Alliance System — Form alliances between guilds for cross-guild collaboration and shared events.
  • Character Builds — Create, share, and compare character builds with the community.

We appreciate your continued feedback and support. If you have questions or suggestions, reach out to us on Discord or via the in-app feedback form.
